Even in these uncertain times building compliance still needs to be kept up to date wherever possible. We are working regularly to help our clients around the country wherever we can.
We are still able to provide some of our services. Fixed Wire Testing, Air Circuit Breaker Maintenance, Solar Panel Maintenance, and some smaller services such as Fire Extinguisher Maintenance and Thermal Imaging are still available. We are able to undertake this essential maintenance, in the current climate, because no one needs to be in the building for us to complete this work. We just need someone to give us access to the building.
We have however reduced our activities to allow for our employees to have the suitable time off they need. We are also minimising travel time and the time we spend on site, ensuring work does not take longer than necessary. When on site we are always taking the correct precautions, wearing the necessary PPE, washing our hands at many intervals during the day, as well as maintaining social distancing rules. Any servicing that we book in is for essential maintenance and due to the need for a client to remain compliant. We assess each job on an individual basis before we book it in, to make sure it is essential and cannot be held off until a later date.
For the services mentioned above, now is actually a perfect time for your building compliance to be completed. It could be necessary for an upcoming audit, or another emergency matter. With buildings unoccupied we can be in and out with ease. This makes our job much easier because we don’t have to worry about the people in the building or be affected by time constraints.
